Educational Deployment Program 2008-2019
From 2008-2019, NSF reserved a portion of the Deployment Pool for educators wishing to gain access to observational facilities for classroom instruction and hands-on learning experience, which included requesting that a facility be deployed to a university for a short period. Below is a list of the educational deployments between 2008 and 2019.
The Program has been reshaped, and facilities can be requested for education through the Facility and Instrumentation Request Process (FIRP) solicitation.
