The NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory and the University of Wyoming jointly hosted the NSF-sponsored Facilities for Atmospheric Research and Education (FARE) workshop from September 18-22, 2023 in Boulder, Colorado. The workshop served as a platform for both experienced and new users of NSF FARE assets to convene and explore observational needs to advance atmospheric science. With the main objectives of enhancing community awareness of the expanded NSF FARE Program and facilitating discussions on science drivers, emerging technologies, and community needs in atmospheric research, the workshop aimed to foster a vibrant exchange of ideas and insights.

The final workshop report has been released in March 2024.
