NSF's National Center for Atmospheric Research - Earth Observing Laboratory is pleased to announce the 2025 AVAPS Users Group Meeting.
When: April 8-9, 2025
Where: Boulder, CO
This meeting will focus on in situ observations using dropsondes and their use in forecasting and science. We will have presentations and discussions on science, operations, and technology along with open discussions, which may include future needs and capabilities such as new types of measurements and new platforms. In April 2024, AVAPS Users Group Meeting celebrated 50 years of the NCAR dropsonde program, which started with GATE in 1974.
