The ISS (Integrated Sounding System) was distributed around four sites at the Perdigao field campaign in the Castelo Branco district of Portugal. Two sites, the West Wind Profiler site and the Sodar-RASS site were set up in December 2016. The two other sites, the sounding site and the east profiler at the Operations Center (using an NCAS/AMF radar wind profiler from the UK), were set up in late April.
