A ground site located 7 miles north of Pennington Alabama, provided an intense suite of chemical and meteorological measurements to investigate these interactions on a more local scale while the aircraft, equipped with NO, NO2, NOy, O3, and hydrocarbon sampling equipment provided a regional view. The aircraft were based out of Meridian, Mississippi.
