Project Location:
Norman, Oklahoma
Project Description:

The Nocturnal Boundary Layer (NBL) project investigated the vertical structure of the nocturnal boundary layer under clear conditions. The main objectives of this project were to observe the turbulent flux structure with respect to the position of the low level nocturnal jet and to study the implications of surface temperature and of surface roughness of varied scales for horizontal inhomogeneities associated with the jet.
