PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This page is no longer being updated. This project is now hosted at Albany.

A global, 2-hourly data set (1995-2010) of atmospheric precipitable water has been retrieved from ground-based GPS measurements of zenith tropospheric delay (ZTD) using the International GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) Service (IGS) tropospheric products (~90-350 stations, since 1995), U.S. SuomiNet (UCAR/COSMIC) products (~300 stations, since 2002) and Japanese GEONET (GPS Earth Observation Network) data (~1100 stations, 1997-2005).
