The Collaborative Colorado–Nebraska Unmanned Aircraft System Experiment was a collaborative project between the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Nebraska—Lincoln to determine the feasibility of using unmanned aircraft to collect in situ data from a cold front and thunderstorm-generated gust front over the Pawnee National Grassland.
