The Carbon Budgets Quantification of Carbon Sources and Sinks project used the Wyoming King Air aircraft to measure carbon sequestration over three types of ecosystems: mixed conifer forest, mixed short-grass prairie, and sagebrush shrubland) in an effort to improve the accuracy of carbon exchange models for different types of terrestrial ecosystems.
