Advanced - Cooperative Arctic Data and Information Service
As of late March 2016, all ACADIS data and publications are available via the NSF Arctic Data Center. The ACADIS Gateway is no longer available. All future data and publication submissions should be made directly to the NSF Arctic Data Center. Further information can be found in the NSF Arctic Data Center Q & A document. If you have any questions, please contact the NSF Arctic Data Center.
ACADIS was the continuation and expansion of CADIS, or Advanced CADIS. The Advanced Cooperative Arctic Data and Information Service (ACADIS) was a joint effort between the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), and Unidata to manage the diverse data needs of the Arctic research community supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Polar Programs (OPP). This includes, but was not limited to, projects funded under the Arctic Observing Network (AON), Arctic System Sciences, Arctic Natural Sciences, and the Arctic Social Sciences Program. ACADIS was an evolution of the CADIS that focused on the AON community. The National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs Arctic Section (ARC) supported ACADIS to provide data management support for investigators funded under NSF/OPP/ARC.
