Due to a change in Boulder of the disk that contains /scr/isff, no raw_data have
been transferred to Boulder for the last 3 days.  The data should be being
archived at Niwot Ridge.  The disk should be back online by tomorrow and all 
covars/WWWplots/etc. should be updated automatically.

In the meantime, I have spot-checked cockpits and ndaqstatus from time-to-time
and everything seems to be running okay.  (Though the willow network is still
problematic.)

A quick status, but I did scan the daily plots ending midnight last night and
have just looked at cockpits.

Sensors down:
- only mote 16, which is back in the lab after a check-up this morning.  It will
  have to be completely replanted the next trip up.

Sensors with problems:
- willow hilo -- needs HiCal.  Will grab one of Sean's Airgas cylinders
- aspen hilo -- needs Ref.  Will grab Niwot02 leftover 250ppm cylinder
- aspen hilo -- will need HiCal.  Will grab another of Sean's at the appropriate
  time
- kh2o.30m.a still set to 2 A/D channels.  Need to configure another serializer
  CPU and replace.
- pine and aspen 17m sonics appear to be dead sometimes, but aren't.

All other sensors appear to be okay!

A brief check of cockpit shows everything running except mote 16 (as expected,
since it is still in the lab) and mote 26 (unexpected, though probably just
batteries at night).

New additional action items are:
- change mote 26 batteries [this should be checked]
- reconfigure/replace 30m.a TRH
- (I think I already noted the need to swap the 30m.a serializer HC11.)

Overall:
All sensors running except for 1 mote.

Willow:
- mote 23 down since we killed it.  Hope John can revive or replace on Monday.
- still need to put optoisolator on chan 217.

Pine:
- mote 12 has 3 bad Tsoils (even though we repaired them??)
- 1m & 6m sonics sometimes flakey, though not since yesterday

Aspen:
- mote 16 has 2? bad Tsoils (we don't know where the break is)
- mote 26 has 1 bad Tsoil (even though repaired??)
- 30m serializer reading 2 A/D channels, which puts spikes to 0 (despite
  today's fix)
- HiLo fluxes are low -- don't know why.

Today was spent setting up booms on aspen.  We have a few more guy wires (mostly
down-guys) which need turnbuckles that we didn't have.

Today also Jielun, Sean, Roberto, and Tony worked to get the hydra analyzer and
cal gases installed.  The hydra inlet tubes still need both to be connected to
hydra and inlet filters installed.  I tried, but failed, to get the opto22 stuff
running -- I'm not sure yet why.

Tom and I went to willow today to try to fix the 17m sonic,6m sonic, and
re-install the tsoil units. We also checked the krypton interface to the 2m
CSAT.
 The 17m sonic is backup and running. It is on logocal channel 208, physical
channel ttyS19. Physical channel ttyS12 needs to be checked out.
 The 6m sonic is working ok. The sonic was attached to port 200 as a test and itwas fine. The problem is with channel 204. Using rserial the output message is very cryptic. Maybe an incorrect baud rate. The channel_config and prep.config
look ok.
 The tsoils were installed. Unfortunately the Tsoil to the east could not be
because some creature decided to break the lid of the electronics box.
One of the Tsoil probes at the east site is out of the ground.
  The 2m krypton signal was good. A backup sonic was used and the krypton was
fine. When the original CSAT was attached the signal again looked ok. A test
was run by disconnecting the krypton and checking for a response change. That
test was successful. The interface cable between the krypton and CSAT was
changed because the original one was not potted. It may be the problem was
due to water in the original cable.
  Based on the cockpit display there is still a problem.
