UCAR Employees

If you are a UCAR employee, then you will need to recovery your UCAS password through the usual means.  You can get more information about UCAS passwords here.

Other Users

If have an account on our website and are not a UCAR employee, you can reset your password yourself by doing the following:

1. Go to https://www.eol.ucar.edu/user/password
2. Enter your email address and click on "E-mail new password"
3. Check you email and look for an email from webmaster@eol.ucar.edu
4. Click on the on-time login link in the email
5. Click on the "log in" button  - this will take you to your profile editing page where you can reset your password
6. Enter your new password immediately
   • DO NOT UPDATE OTHER INFORMATION ON YOUR PROFILE DURING THE PASSWORD RESET PROCESS
7. Done!

IMPORTANT NOTE

 If you have forgotten your password, you must enter and confirm your new password immediately after using the one-time log in link.  Clicking on other links within the site, including the "My Account" link or re-loading the page will force you to enter your current password!

About the "Current Password" Field

You are only required to enter the current password if you are attempting to change your password or update your email address.
