General Description:
The research aircraft operated by the NCAR/EOL Research Aviation Facility are pressurized. To record the pressure in the cabin, a simple analog pressure transducer is used. This measurement is sometimes useful for diagnosing problems that might arise from leaks or other effects on instruments that are dependent on cabin pressure.
