May 26, 2010 to June 26, 2010
Project Location:
southern Wyoming and northern Colorado
Project Description:

The King Air Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) Exploratory Experiment took place over southern Wyoming and northern Colorado to test the Raman lidar system on the King Air aircraft. During 41 research flight hours, data was collected about different meteorological conditions and the resulting measurements illustrated the Raman lidar system's successful application for measuring PBL clouds, aerosols, and water vapor.
