The National Science Foundation (NSF), through its Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences (AGS), provides multi-user national facilities in support of the geosciences community through the Lower Atmosphere Observing Facilities (LAOF) Program. The facilities are managed and operated by the LAOF Partner Organizations, including the National Center for Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL) and the University of Wyoming (UWY). Both NSF LAOF Partner Organizations provide support directly to the science community on facility needs and capabilities and process their requests for use in coordination with NSF.
