The distributions are packaged as UNIX tar files.

Download the file.

Unpack the file using the 'untar' command:

  tar xvfz filename

For example:

  tar xvfz radx-20130913-src.tgz

Change directory to the unpacked area:

  cd radx-20130913-src

At this level you will find a README file pertinent to the operation you need to perform.

The README files are as follows:

• README_BUILD.TXT - buiild from source
• README_BUILD_OSX.TXT - build for OSX
• README_INSTALL_BIN.TXT - installation binary distributions
• LICENSE.TXT - open license details
