The estimated APAR spiral implementation is five years to build costing approximately $70M. The implementation approach includes:

     •       Sub-array Panel Phase

     •       One AESA APAR Phase

     •       Four AESA APAR Phase

After the Four AESA APAR Phase is complete, APAR will be available to the NSF research community via the standard facility request process for LAOF.  APAR is expected to be operational for 20 years before divestment phase.
