LICOR 7000

The LI-7000 is a closed-path infrared gas analyzer (IRGA) for high-frequency measurement of carbon dioxide.  ISFS had one in our early stages of measuring CO2 fluxes.  It often was used with a Nafion dryer tube upstream to remove water vapor.   It was used in various configurations, including as the analyzer for our "hydra" system that had multiple sampling inlets and glass flasks as buffer volumes.  It was calibrated by periodic sampling of cylinders of known CO2 concentration.  It has been superceeded by a set of EC-150 open-path IRGAs, though the EC-150s are unable to achieve high accuracy absolute concentration measurements.
