ABSTRACT
This talk will report on recent efforts probing complex aerosol-cloud interactions with field measurements and complementary datasets. Flight data from the CIRPAS Twin Otter off the California coast will be used to report on findings associated with clouds evolving under the influence of dust, shipping, wildfires, and sea salt. Furthermore, knowledge gained recently about large stratocumulus clearings in that region will be shared. Selected results will also be shown from the NASA CAMP 2 Ex and ACTIVATE missions related to aerosol-cloud interactions, including details associated with aqueous processing of particles.
