ECO Associate Researcher.  Studied atmospheric carbon dioxide exchange in forest ecosystems for the Geochemical Carbon Fluxes Project.  Installed sampling equipment and collected soil gas concentration and flux data in Massachusetts, Vermont, and Northern Manitoba.  Developed and created computer models to test new methods for measuring soil CO2 emission.

Research assistant.  Helped develop a study of the carbon-13 fractionation of CO2 in forest air.  Planned experiments, designed and constructed air-sampling systems, and processed samples on a stable isotope mass spectrometer.
