Today, our latest paper on high performance DFG laser sources and its application for the detection of formaldehyde has been published in Applied Physics B - Lasers and Optics.

The 'Velociraptor' (Laser Air Motion Sensor) is nearing prototype status. All optical tests (with the exception of the DAQ system) have been completed.

We are getting ready to participate in the third (3rd !) major airborne research study this calendar year. This time we are to integrate our newly developed and very promising DFG instrument on NOAA's P-3. The mission, which will operate out of Ellington Field (right next to NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston), is tentatively scheduled to commence on August 22 until September 24.
