Weather Forecasting and Guidance

• NOAA lead, CSU, NOAA, Wyoming collaboration
• Forecast will be placed on web page

Command and Communication

• Wyoming and CSU have authority to cancel a planned flight.
• Notice of cancellation will be circulated as soon as possible by phone and email and posted on web page.
• Web site is primary clearing house for information - status and updates
• Telephone confirmation with Wyoming for flight status

Daily Operations and Crew Activity on Flight Days

• Flight days declared previous afternoon
• Update by phone and web posting on morning of flight day
• Crew arrives at hangar by 8:00am
• Take-off not earlier than 9:00am unless otherwise arranged
• Weekends:
  OFF - during first half of project This policy can be amended during the project if necessary, based on flight hours remaining and fulfillment of project goals

Access to Wyoming Hangar

• Hangar will be open on flight days
• Phone ahead on non-flight days or check with Glenn Gordon
• Space and power will be available for PI equipment
• Machine shop - some support can be arranged if needed
• Tools - bring your own or arrange loan with Wyoming staff
