Factor Label

Rules for solving problems using the factor label method:
1) Write what you are trying to find.
2) Write what you are starting with.
3) Use conversion factors to obtain desired units.
4) Do the math, round answer to the correct number of significant figures.

Example: 5280 ft = 1 mile 12 in. = 1 ft
