The profiler radars on the deck of the R/V Mirai in the central Pacific for the Nauru99 project. There are two wind profilers, the two large white boxes which are clutter screens (to reduce echoes from the sea) and enclose the radar antennas mounted on stabilized platforms. The two profilers are MAPR, an advanced wind profiler, and a conventional DBS 915 MHz wind profiler. There is also a RASS system and an S-Band vertically pointing radar (the drum antenna).
