PAM / ISFF Reference Information

1. PAM Description / Purpose of Data Acquisition System

PAMIII was designed to provide real-time acquisition and telemetry of basic meteorological parameters, net radiation flux, sensible and latent heat fluxes, and soil heat flux to determine the surface energy budget. Additional flux estimations may be included for various chemical species such as CO2, condensation nuclei, etc. Measurements are taken over various surfaces at different locations and seasons per the needs of user scientists who request these facilities for short to medium duration field experiments.
