Setup: Main Menu:
3) ANSI mode OFF
4) Messages OFF
9) Configure Port 19200, RTS/CTS=OFF halt output
File Menu:
5) Append mode OFF
8) Scheduled file close: OFF for EVE code running the command port and externally closing the files. Set to 28800 for automatic closing every 8-hours without eve control.
Notes: File Date/Times Stamps represent the time it is CLOSED
File Names Are automatically incremented each time you stop/start recording. The last digit in the 8-char name goes from 0-9,a-z and then the next digit, etc.

the Main Menu, Note the Date/Time, if they are not correct, use options 1 and 2
from the Main Menu to set them to GMT.
When entering the numeric values, the ':' and '/' chars are
filled in automatically, making it very straightforward to do.

the Current File Name to be written for the Appropriate STATION Number. NOTE when entering the new name, you must first hit
'back-space' to erase the 'current filename' up to the '/' character. Also make sure to have the filename be 8.3
characters. Note as new files are openned, their file modification date/times will be
correct, and they will have the same name except the last digit will be
incremented (ie stn3_001.dat).

HOW-TO
CHANGE Acumen SDR-OEM Compact Flash Media:
Note: Basic Steps:
1)Stop Recording on SDR-OEM: The 2nd LED
(record) should be illuminated and the 3rd LED should be
blinking. If the 4th LED is
blinking, the SDR-OEM has crashed and you should probably change media
entirely. Press the Yellow Button on
the Board to stop recording and make sure the 2nd LED turns off.
2)REMOVE CompactFlash
3)TRANSFER Data Files PC: Note Station Number X, and Note
Date yymmdd
On
Linux/Base: $PAM/projects/HVAMS03/raw_data/sX/yymmdd/..files..
On
Windows: c:\pam\projects\HVAMS03\sX\yymmdd\..files...
You may need to create the 'date'
directory before transferring the files.
4)ERASE Data Files on CF.
5)Install CF back into Recorder
6)Press the Yellow Button on the Board to start
recording and make sure the 2nd LED turns on.
