April 25 (Dryline Bust)
Synopsis:
Vigorous upper trough and dryline. Several bands of marginally
severe storms formed along and ahead of the dryline. Late in the
evening, a
tornado occurred near Talihena, OK, and two tornadoes occurred near
Lancaster and DeSoto, TX
Intercept:
No supercells occurred in the target area of central OK. Near
sunset, TCU formed near the dryline in northern OK.

Data Collection Highlights:
M-CLASS sounding was obtained near the dryline, about 20 km
upstream (with respect to the low-level flow) of the TCU at sunset. Two

M-CLASS soundings.
