ISFS Towers at METCRAX
Two 30-foot ISFS towers, the on the lower (left) and upper (right) western slope of the Meteor Crater, show the enormous scale of the crater. The towers were deployed for the METCRAX experiment to gather data about turbulent fluxes of momentum, sensible heat and latent head by eddy correlation, three-dimensional wind, temperature, humidity, long and short-wave radiation fluxes, and soil temperature, soil moisture and soil heat fluxes.
