Travel Information

Boulder is about an hour drive from DIA (Denver International Airport), a major airport with direct flights to all over North America and to London and Frankfurt. Travellers from the Pacific will need to connect through LA or other west coast points. From DIA we suggest you can take a shuttle bus to Boulder. You may also take public transport, taxi, or rent a car.
- Shuttle Bus: The Boulder SuperShuttle runs small buses to Boulder every hour (up to about 11pm) and will drop you at your hotel or residence. Fares are about $20 - $26 one way, $38 - $48 return. They have a service counter near the fountain at the exit of the airport train where you can buy tickets. Look for their blue sign under the Ground Transportation sign.
- Public Transport: The RTD Skyride AB Bus drives to Boulder approximately once per hour (up to about 11pm). The bus you should catch is the AB bus. Fares are $10 one way, $18 return. RTD also has a service counter near the fountain where you can buy return tickets. You can also buy tickets from the driver, however exact change is required. Check the web site for a timetable and map.
- Other options are Taxis (around $80 and up to Boulder) and Rental Cars.
The Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau web site has maps, driving directions, and other information in the "Visiting Boulder" tab pull-down menu.
The conference is being held at the University of Colorado Boulder Campus and on their web site you will find more visitor information.
There's also a useful map of the drive from DIA from NCAR/MMM.
