The current day's 5 minute data, both NetCDF and ASCII, is generated from the data received over the cell modems in real-time.
This data feed will have gaps, due to cell reconnects and other network issues.
At 00:00 GMT, 19:00 CDT, the previous day's raw files are copied from each station.
Once the files are copied, then the 5 minute statistics are regenerated. So at some point in the evening that day's data, up to 00:00 GMT, should be complete. The evening reprocessing will only fill in gaps, otherwise the results should be the same as the real-time data.
