If you have an international version of Netscape or IE, be sure to download the international versions of the plugin.
There is a bug in some early versions of the Internet Explorer java plugin, such that if the entire applet is displayed in a browser window, it is unreadable due to striping across the window. To avoid this only part of the applet is made visible, and the user must use the scroll-bars to access the entire applet.
