All foreign attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements including obtaining visas. The ILRC organizers advise anyone who may need a visa to apply early.  Security-related policies have greatly increased the processing time for visa applications. General information on U.S. visa requirements can be found at the U.S. State Department web site about U.S. visa policy and procedures.

To request a letter of invitation for ILRC 24 as a supporting document for the visa application, send an email to ILRC24-visa@eol.ucar.edu. In your email request, please state your intention to attend the conference and provide your full name, title, affiliation, and postal address. An invitation letter will be mailed to you within 5 business days of the receipt of your request. This invitation does not imply that the conference organizers will provide financial travel support. Please also note that this letter of invitation will not guarantee that a visa for the U.S. will be granted.
