Conference Hosted Events

To make the stay in Boulder even more enjoyable, the following activities for participants and accompanying persons will be offered:

• Opening Reception at the University Memorial Center on Sunday June 22 in the late afternoon/early evening (Pictures Terrace, Ballroom).
  
• Afternoon excursion to Rocky Mountain National Park on Wednesday June 25
  
• Banquet under the stars at the NCAR Mesa Lab on Thursday June 26 
  

Weather in Rocky Mountain National Park

The excursion to Rocky Mountain National Park will take us up to high altitudes where the weather can be quite chilly and the sun quite strong.  We suggest that you bring a jacket or sweatshirt/sweater, sunscreen, and a hat to be prepared for this environment.
