Jean Hurst - NCAR/EOL
I have been at NCAR since
1984, beginning with FOF then located at the CU campus at Marine St.I
have worked with Cindy Mueller, Paul Herzegh, and currently and for most of the time,
Bob Rilling. We have gone from half-inch, nine track tape, to 8mm
data tapes, DLT's and disk storage in that time. On the mesa we have
moved from TBM reels to the current Mass Storage System.
I work in the NCAR RDP data management group. My primary work is archiving and retrieving
data as well as assisting in checking data quality. Currently, this
involves much communication with NCAR's Mass Storage system.
I have participated in RICO 2004 in Antigua/Barbuda, NAME 2004 in
Mazatlan, IMPROVE I, MAP 1999, and PRECIP98.
