About the Website

The EOL website runs on Plone, an open-source Content Management System that allows our sometimes far-flung staff to continually update content from anywhere in the world. It runs and looks best on the Firefox browser, which is faster, more secure, and fully customizable and we encourage you to download this free browser for the best experience here.

This site also looks great on Internet Explorer 7.0 and Safari 2x/3x. There are known visual problems with Internet Explorer 6.x.

Lost Password

If you have lost your password, simply enter your username on the form on the Lost Password page. You will receive an email with a link that allows you to reset your password and log in. If you do not remember your username, one of our our web support people will be glad to reset your password for you.

Error logging in

If you are having trouble logging in, feel free to visit the contact page to ask for help. Some common problems however are:

  • If you are running firefox 2.5+ / 3.* you may get an error after clicking the log in link or when being re-directed to the login page.
    This is because we use a self-signed certificate on our site. Click here for instructions on how to fix this problem from.
  • If you can reach the login page but fail to login, try resetting your password or contact us if you need help.
