Real-Time Flight Position of NSF/NCAR GV in Google Earth & Flight Aware
Real-time data feeds will be active at any time the NSF/NCAR Gulfstream V is in the air.
Navigate using the controls on Goolge Earth to view the flight track from all angles. When the NSF/NCAR GV route track stops on Goolge Earth, it does not mean that it is down. It means that the airplane has reached the limits of satellite communications coverage, so please don't be alarmed.
You can also see the approximate location of the NSF/NCAR GV on FlightAware. Please realize that FlightAware does not use any data feeds from the NSF/NCAR GV and does not always provide an accurate real time position. Also, if the airplane is flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), the flight track will not be visible on FlightAware.
