| EOL manages and operates the majority of the National Science
Foundation's (NSF) Lower Atmospheric Observing Facilities (LAOF).
EOL has provided instrumentation and technical support for scientific
research on all seven continents.
The majority of the observing facilities are funded by an NSF Deployment Pool
and can be made available, upon request,
to the scientific user community. (Note: instruments marked with an * are currently not funded by the DP and special funds are requested to deploy the system during a field campaign) |
