Deployment

ISS at T-RexEOL has over 40 years experience in providing scientific field deployment planning and implementation to the atmospheric research community. We provide cost-effective, comprehensive and scalable project management services to meet program, scientist and project requirements:

Through our Deployment Services, EOL facilitates the execution the experimental plan so the highest quality data set is collected to meet the scientific goals of the experiment.

  • Program Planning: EOL works with research scientists to create the architecture for effective field program design, development, and implementation. Program planning activities often begin years ahead of the actual field phase.
  • Operations: EOL manages field deployment operations by providing essential staff, including engineers, technicians, project managers, pilots, operations directors,  and aircraft coordinators. We facilitate the execution of your experimental plan so that the highest quality data sets are collected to meet the scientific goals of the experiment.
  • Logistics: EOL provides complex logistics support tailored to individual project needs. Tasks include arrangements for scientific and technical personnel and equipment, international relationships, permits and clearances, shipping and customs, contracts and leases, communications, security and safety issues, as well as financial services and local staffing.
  • Post Project Activities: EOL's work does not end with the completion of the field phase. Our staff work closely with the principal investigators to ensure that their data needs are met, that data are quality-controlled, processed and archived and help with the organization of post-project meetings.
