I am Mike Daniels, the Manager of EOL's Computing, Data and Software Facility.  I started at NCAR as a student programmer and progressed as a software engineer and system administrator within the Research Aviation Facility.  In 1999, I became the group head for ATD's Research Data Program and gained experience with the variety of data services we offer and build for our observing platforms.  In the fall of 2005, I became the EOL/CDS Manager, a job that expands data services beyond UCAR and includes responsibility for the software engineering systems of our Lab.  I have the privilege of representing an excellent group of associate scientists, software engineers, system administrators and students who eagerly serve EOL's mission of providing computing, data and software engineering services to our community.
