An overview of EOL's Systems Infrastructure Group

Welcome

The CDS System Infrastructure Group (SIG) provides computing infrastructure support to the Earth Observing Laboratory (EOL).

Who are We?

SIG resides within the EOL Computing, Data and Software Facility (CDS)  We are tasked with providing outstanding computing infrastructure support to all EOL facilities, staff, and visitors.  This includes the design and implementation of field operations centers for most EOL field projects.

The members of SIG include: Jody Williams, Santiago Newbery, Joe Vinson, Brandon Slaten, Ted Russ, Jon Tsui (student) and William Haddon (student).

We are guided by an internal committee called SINAP that provides us with user input and helps to set our priorities.
